Tysons, VA

Fairfax County police arrested a woman in connection to an armed robbery near the Spring Hill Metro station in Tysons.

The incident happened shortly after 9 a.m. on Sunday (Dec. 29) in the 8600 block of Westwood Center Drive — the same area where police said three people were injured from a shooting on New Year’s Day.

“The victim arranged a meeting with a woman at a nearby business,” police said. “When the victim arrived, he was robbed by a man and the woman at gunpoint.”

Police found 22-year-old Brooke Sluss, of Maryland, nearby and charged her with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

“The second suspect is described as a black man,” police said.

In a separate incident on the same day, police sad that a person was confronted and “lunged at” by a naked man in a bathroom in the 8100 block of Leesburg Pike. The incident happened around 1 p.m.

Police said the naked man ran away and the person wasn’t harmed.

“The suspect is described as a black man between 30-40 years old,” police said.
